Dr. Francis has extensive experience in reconstructive spine surgery of the neck and lower back.
Dr. William Francis received his Bachelor of Arts in both math and psychology from the University of Texas in Austin, TX, and his doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine.
Following his graduation, he was trained in both general and orthopedic surgery and completed three years of fellowship training in a variety of spinal surgery specialties, receiving certification from Harvard Medical School, Columbia University of New York and University of Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Francis is board certified in orthopedic surgery with more than 35 years of experience in complex spine surgery including scoliosis, spinal deformities, trauma, and metabolic bone diseases. Dr. Francis also has extensive experience in reconstructive spine surgery of the neck and lower back.
In 2003, he attended Rice University and went on to earn a MBA. Previously, Dr. Francis worked in the field of spinal rehabilitation as staff physician at Shriners C.C. Hospital and T.I.RR Memorial Hermann. Since November 2007, Dr. Francis has specialized in the non-surgical treatment of spinal disorders.
